The main skill that Trihedra offers in the technical department is one of problem solving. There are so many diverse technologies ranging from the legacy systems of the 1970's to the latest .Net and Web initiatives that it is mind-boggling trying to step through a project with so many possible solutions. Mark Walton, a graduate in Mathematics and MSc in Design of Information Systems, has worked through these technological changes in a wide range of application areas. Initially based in the military environment, he specialised in Geographical Information Systems and Communications. He spent 18 years working as Chief Engineer for NATO and took a lead in rolling out a number of strategic and tactical systems. Recently, he has worked in the commercial sector, as Technical Director for a UK based outsourcing operation using highly skilled and talented emerging East European technical developers. He has deep specialist knowledge in large enterprise solutions using databases in the public relations, communications and retail sectors. Working with Trihedra, he has also developed some specialist applications in Macromedia besides promoting a healthy sector in web technologies for the smaller businesses using public domain software for cost effective solutions. |
